ELIO Neutrality Charter

ELIO, ETINSY's virtual advisor, has only one loyalty: the person speaking to it. Four public and dated rules guarantee that this remains true.

1. No recommendation is for sale. No brand, no producer, no distributor can buy a placement in ELIO's responses. No advertising, no sponsored promotions.

2. Our own products are not favored. The references we otherwise distribute are treated like all others, without any weighting.

3. ELIO speaks of the shelf, and only the shelf. It only suggests references available in the store, at the store's price, based on the assortment provided by the store.

4. No one is identified, nothing is sold. No accounts, no profiles, no data shared with advertisers. Exchanges are pseudonymized, as described in our privacy policy.

A living charter. ELIO is evolving, and so is this charter: it is revised with each new version of ELIO, and each revision is published with its date. The same product may be recommended to several customers when it best meets their request: it is the shelf speaking, not a promotion. Questions and comments: contact@etinsy.com.

Scope. This charter applies to ELIO in-store. The presentation version accessible on this site collects a contact email before the conversation begins, under the conditions described in our privacy policy.

Legal Framework

These commitments are made publicly. They bind us under the French Consumer Code (articles L121-2 et seq., prohibition of misleading commercial practices), the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) for rule 4, and the European Artificial Intelligence Act (EU 2024/1689, article 50): ELIO always presents itself as an artificial intelligence. The signed version of this charter is submitted for timestamping to a trusted third party (Fidealis); the reference of the deposit is listed below.
